Inside Sales Executive (TA035/SAL-INS)

  • Responsible for sales to a large portfolio of customers, who require regular communication and promotion primarily via telephone and email. With limited face to face visits being required – making this a largely office-based role.
  • Compile and submit sales quotations for a range of products, supplied by TOPCAST.
  • Track the status of quotations and proposals submitted and progress these with customers and internally to ensure successful resolution and sales closure.
  • Make a significant and defined contribution towards revenue and profit targets as an Inside Sales Executive – responsible for sales from within our organization for a portfolio of customers or regions.
  • Develop a very clear and detailed understanding of customer needs; to enable an increased conversion of RFQ’s to orders and increase in sales – e.g., consumption forecasts, lead-time requirements and use these to advise colleagues on sales forecasts and required inventory holdings.
  • Work closely with respective Product Line to develop a clear understanding of specific products and with the individual Account Manager to establish sales strategy for the targeted customers.
  • Collate costs and prices in support of bids and proposals being developed by sales team and customer services.
  • Compile, analyse and present accurate sales and marketing data, providing feedback on customer buying patterns and market trends – Producing sales forecasts for allocated segments.
  • An integral part of the sales team participating in and supplying / commentating on Inside Sales initiatives and activities during sales teams’ meetings. These include bid and proposal and general sales planning meetings.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Company.
  • Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Good knowledge of IT software programs such as Power Point, Word and Excel with specific knowledge in V-lookup and Pivot Table required.
  • ERP (P2000) experience in quotation generation and transactions an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with a flair for figures.
  • Customer oriented, organized, meticulous and able to multitask.
  • Good team player, willing to learn and self-motivated.
