We believe the addition of Greene Tweed can better serve our diverse customers across different aircraft platforms.”
Seals are applied across aircraft platforms to prevent leakage of fluids and keep the air in and dirt out, which is critically required to be resistive against high temperature, pressure and corrosion effects. The global aircraft seal market size was valued at US$ 866.91 million in 2020 and is expected to reach US$ 916.17 million in 2021, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) 6.02%; from 2020 to 2026 it is expected to reach US$ 1,231.17 million. Furthermore, with the upcoming aircraft delivery and total order backlog among two key aircraft manufacturers, over 54,000 aircraft are soon to be in service. Those factors will further assure a sustainable demand for aircraft seals in the foreseeable future.
Greene Tweed entered the aerospace and defense industry over 50 years ago with sealing systems for landing gear. The high-performance solutions advance the safety and performance of critical applications and aviation and aerospace.
